Monday Mindset: Your Mid-Year Check-In

Monday Mindset: Your Mid-Year Check-In

August 03, 20262 min read

Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year?

Last week, we considered SLOWING DOWN.

Now, calmly, let’s check-in on a few things:
— Do you/I actually feel calm right this very minute?
— IF you feel calm, let’s glance back at those New Year’s resolutions.

If you have no idea where your list is or what you even wrote down, it’s all good. All that matters is this PRESENT MOMENT. Thankfully, we are able to begin again, and again, and again…

Check-in:

Are you content with how you ‘are’ physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, financially?
Where do we want to see change/growth?
Where do we want to avoid change/growth?
***We are just gathering information right now — don’t judge it, just accept the information.

If you are content in all areas — thank You, Father, that is wonderful!
If you are not content in all areas — thank You, Father, that is wonderful!

This mid-year check-in is an invitation to slowly and calmly get re-aligned with your intentions, your hopes, dreams…, and SURRENDER ‘it’ all to Him in order to take the next right step(s) forward.
***Remember, SURRENDER is a PRACTICE.

From the knee, with grateful heart, love and prayers,
Carroll 💙

Scripture Reflection:

Psalm 139:23-24 "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

Inspiring Quotes for Your Week:

  • Carl Jung: "Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate."

  • John O'Donohue: "The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are."

  • Viktor Frankl: "When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves."

“For anything to be good, truly good, there must be love in it. Whether the art is sculpture, farming, teaching, lawmaking, medicine, music, or raising a child—nothing is what it’s supposed to be if love is not at the core.” Theo of Golden
