Monday Mindset: International Women’s Day – Celebrating Women
Mary’s ‘Yes’ not only changed the world, it is also the ultimate example of trust in Him.
Luke 1:38 - “Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.”
Throughout history, (with and without recognition) women have changed and continue to change the world — come on, women carry and birth children!
This week, we celebrate women — not just because they’re AWESOME… however, we celebrate that men and women were created in the image of God.
Genesis 1:27 - “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
Men and women are both needed —- they bring different perspectives.
Thankfully, there’s a beautiful shift happening in the world.
Women not only have a seat at more tables — their voices are being heard.
Collaboration between men and women makes for better communication, better decisions, greater leadership…, a better world.
This week, I strongly suggest we SURRENDER comparing men and women and embrace the truth that BOTH are needed, on every level.
Let’s enjoy celebrating the women around us.
For ALL reading this… remember: You matter. Your story matters. You are a precious child of God. God loves you.
I’m honored to be part of the upcoming 262 Summit this weekend in celebration of International Women’s Day — a gathering dedicated to elevating women’s leadership, faith, and influence. I would love for you to join us as we continue this important conversation.
Remember, you are a precious child of God. You matter. Your story matters. God loves you.
With grateful heart, love and prayers,
Carroll 💙
