Monday Mindset: Embracing Change, Choosing Growth
As we move into Lent this Wednesday, we’re invited into something beautifully simple:
“Remember that you are dust and from dust you shall return.”
This phrase is a reminder that life is fragile. There is a NEED for ALL OF US to grow in our faith and to repent — change/grow/rid ourselves of what is not good for us.
We need Him to help us BEGIN AGAIN and He is always waiting to do so.
SURRENDERING — confessing — releasing what does not serve Him, and/or us, is a sacred decision.
REPENTANCE is such a gift — to take accountability for our thoughts, words, and actions and be willing to admit: I need to change some things. I WANT to be better.
I strongly suggest that this week we practice staying in the present moment, with Him.
Let’s practice SURRENDERING what does not serve us TO HIM — moment to moment —- throughout each day.
At the end of each day — reflect upon how the day played out.
Was it better? Do I feel better about my decisions — my thoughts, words and actions?
Did I draw closer to Him throughout the day?
As a precious friend of mine always says, “Less of me, more of Him.” - GZ

Scripture Reflection:
Isaiah 43:18–19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Inspiring Quotes for Your Week:
Eckhart Tolle: “Life will give you whatever experience is most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness.”
Viola Davis: “You cannot heal what you refuse to acknowledge.”
Denzel Washington: “At the end of the day, it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished… it’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better.”
